Summer holidays (entry 7)

Summer time! A good time to relax in vacations, being with friends and family, enjoying a nice cool drink or some good ice cream. A time of being in swimming pools for like all day. A time of burning in the sun (seriously, use solar protection). A time of, well, reloax in the end, unless you have to do work, just like a lot of people aftter the pandemy started. Luckily, from what I saw, things are getting slowly coming back to normal. Hopefully the next variant will not be as heck of a problems like the Delta variant. Seriously, in my case I'm getting tired of being in the house a lot.    The last summer before Covid was ok for me, I did a lot of exercise, went to be with my cousins, ate a lot of ice cream jaja. I cannot say alot being honest, because the summer before Covid we didn't go to travel. We didn't have enough money to go to vacations, well, the 4 of us, because in the end, my parents went to the South, I don't remember exactly the place, but went they g...

GPOY (entry 6)

Imagen
A GPOY (also known as Gratuitous pictures of yourself). Is just a fancy way to say about a picture you really love.  In my case I don't have a picture in particular who come up in my mind. }But if I have to choose of my many pictores about my life or vacations, I guess I will have to go when I went to Rapa Nui (Easter Island). If I remember correctly, this image was taken in 2017. The day (according to my phone) was the 3rd of March.   After a long of planning and some luck, me and my family finally decided to go to Easter Island. We couldn't go sooner because the job of my father is very demanding. Also he is scared of flying.  The image I took was one of the many small mountains the island have. Sadly I don't remember the name of if, but is a very touristic place. We saw the famous Moais too, but sadly a lot of them are in bad shape, because the weather and the humidity of the zone. The food was also very good, but kinda expensive to being honest ...

Posgraduate studies (entry 5)

For me is a though decision to being honest, I never tough having studies after graduating from the University. I mean, not 100%. I was thinking like learning another language, I don't know what exactly, probably an asian one, like Japanese or Chinese. I don't know. Maybe I could do that, so I''l learn 3 languages in total.   I could start doing that here by the way, because I have 0 knowledge of these languages. Starting with some classes I think, or learning by myself some words first, and then some sentences. As for the English, well, maybe I could perfect it in some other countries. I have to look by the way. Maybe I will take the TOEFL test, that will come handy for the future. Is a very important test, so in that case I can enter in some institutions in other countries.   As for working in other country, I guess I'll have to look also (seriously, I need to think about the future a little more after graduating, I was thinking only in getting my title and the...

My future job (entry 5)

My future job? That's a tough question, at least for me. In my entire, I passed from my mind a lot of alternatives. The first one was being an Electric Enginner, just like my father, but I was very young to being honest. After I discovered you have to work alot with very complitaded systems with a lot of wires, I said "nope".    Now that I'm studing pharmacy, I could say with 80 percent that I'm going to end being the boss in a drug store. I mean in our country by law, there's gonna be at least 1 person who has study "Chemitry and Pharmacy" (a fancy way to say Pharmaceutical here). Heck, even the people who already got their degree said that. If I remember correctly, in my first semester we had some discussions with people with Pharmaceutical degree. They talked sbout their jobs, but in different areas. One works in a hospital, like another doctor. Another one works in a industry, where he and his team and he work in creating some bea...

My favorite food (entry 4)

Food, one of the most essencial things for every being alive in the world. Especially for us humans. If I have to choose one specific meal I'll choose the spaguetti. One of my easiest choice to being honest. You can make in a lot ways. With pomodoro sauce (tomato sauce), fetuccini, mushroom sauce, a lot of sauces to being honest.    Is easy to make, doesn't take a lot of time, and only needs water, salt and oil (well, except when you decide to add a sauce or more condiments). Made from Italy (this variant, because the Chinese ones are kinda different). But if you wanna make your own pasta, that's another level, because that will require more products to buy, more time and most probably, more costs to take care. (eggs, the machines, that kind of things).   In my case, I made them like 2 or 3 times a week, but that all depends. If I go to a restaurant, normally I order something else because normally you cannot find them sadly (except for the Italian ones...

The cringe (entry 3)

Imagen
The cringe, that sensacion of embarrasment. That sensation of "please stop, no more, just stop please". I'm pretty everyone at feeled like that at least once in their life. Everyone has his bad days, that's a fact. And no one is safe for it, not even me.   Back in school, when I had like 8 years old I think, we were in a english class. If I remember correctly, we already finished the last test and everything. But because we still have some days before vacations, we used that space to pass the time and have some fun. We also did some activities, such as watching movies, boards games, that kind of things.  I don't know who was of the idea, but that classmate had a "good idea" of telling jokes, the classic ones. Everyone needed to make a joke. Long or short, doesn't matter. Back in these days, I was a very nervous person, but at the same time, I like some challenges. I was formulating my joke. In my head it was perfect. But when it was my time, I sta...

A good holiday (entry 2)

Holidays, who doesn't love holidays? The days when you can take some rest, have more time with your family or friends, or give it a "luxury" time if you know what I mean. That or having the bad luck of you hae still to go to work anyways because reasons.    Anyways, there're special days when we celebrate something special, like Christmas,Halloween, Easter and many more. If I have to choose, I’ll choose Christmas in my case. Is a special day where we reunite with all my family. We bring presents, we eat some good food and most important, we have some good laughs.    Like that day when one of my cousins forgot to bring a something to eat in our dinner. We started to joke with him, not mocking him btw. Just the typical puns to your close people.    Last year we did something we called “amigo secreto”.  In english that will be called “secret friend”, where we add all the names of the participants. Then we randomly select who is your “secret friend”...
